NutriTrack ("the app", "we", "us") is built privacy-first. The app is designed so that your personal information stays on your device. We do not operate servers that collect your data, we do not use advertising, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
The following information is created and stored locally on your device (using Apple's on-device database) and is not transmitted to us:
With your explicit permission, NutriTrack can read your most recent weight from Apple Health and write
the weight and dietary energy you log back to Apple Health. This data is exchanged only between your
device and Apple Health. We never receive it. You can review or revoke this access at any time in
Settings › Privacy & Security › Health.
When you search for foods or scan a barcode, the app sends your search term or barcode to third-party nutrition databases to retrieve nutrition facts:
These requests contain only the food text or barcode you are looking up. They are not linked to your name, account, or any identifier. Please refer to those services' own privacy practices for how they handle requests.
Subscriptions and purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Because your data lives on your device, it is retained until you delete it. You can permanently erase all of your data at any time using Profile › Delete Account inside the app, or by deleting the app. Deleting the app removes its on-device data.
NutriTrack is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
